According to Newsday, a police report says that the man withdrew $11,270 over a five-month period that "did not belong to him."

Medicine Commercials

Last night I was at a friend's house and we noticed something interesting; the amount of medicine commercials aired on television. You ever notice how many there are. You probably haven't so we did, and the results are crazy... it averaged out to around one of every six commercials (and this was on a major network during prime time!). This may seem like kind of a mundane thing to notice until you really think about the purpose of a medicine ad. *For the purpose of my argument we're gonna exclude over the counter medications.

I always thought when you get sick you go to the doctor, who uses their "Medical Training" to prescribe something, simple enough right. So why would you ever advertise a prescription medication. So people can watch and think hmmm... "I have that" lol. I mean does no one notice how flawed that logic is. My favorite thing about these ads has to be the ever present line at the end "If you suffer from these symptoms ask your doctor about (enter medication here)". Um No! If I suffer from these symptoms I'm gonna go to the doctor understanding he knows more about medicine than I do, and accept his recommendation lol. But on a serious note we only have ourselves to blame for the current "epidemic" (I hate that word btw) of addiction to prescription medications, because we made ourselves think that if we ever get a stomach ache we need ulcer medicine and if we're ever in a bad mood we need an anti-depressant... try smoking some weed, way less side effects lol

Really?... okay, show me something that you do that no one else does, or wont be doing in the near future. Of course you wear what you like, who's gonna buy something that they don't like. But I bet the reason you like what you wear is because you saw someone else wearing it first. I mean think about it when was the last time you bought something from a brand you had never heard of before and hadn't seen something similar on someone else... don't worry I'll wait. I bet everyone had a few examples here and there but if you went through your closet you'd realize how similar it is to all of your friends. If that's not the definition of being trendy then what is? This applies to all you "vintage" thrift store shoppers too. Just because you didn't get it at the mall doesn't make you all cool and eclectic or different, wasn't nobody doin that shit 2-3 years ago, your just as trendy as the girl in Bloomingdales, your just doin it on a budget, and probably thinkin your too cool to be all trendy all along lol.... noooooope

Personally I don't feel there is anything wrong with being trendy, AS LONG as you insert your own personality into what you wear, don't just re-create looks you see on other people... So people please take your noses out of the air and stop acting like your so much cooler than teh rest of us... Now

Remember how this nigga used to dress lol... I don't get how people take most R&B singers so seriously when not only do they not dress themselves, they don't write or produce the overwhelming majority of their music. They're just nice voices with pretty faces attached.
